I've fished in Montana and Wyoming in the best dry fly fishing times. I still think that my home waters of Maine have just as good, if not better, fishing. What I love about Maine is the fact that it isn't known for fly fishing like Montana and Wyoming. Maine brook trout are mysterious. To have my father and me each catch trophy brook trout, within a couple minutes of each other, on Father's Day, in Maine, and on dry flies, to me, is equal to any fishing anywhere! The moment that we both landed our fish was one of the best moments in my life and I will never forget it!
