In September, I made my way back down to Bolivia for the second time as a host for Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co. Honestly, the first go was not enough for me. I was determined to get back as soon as possible. As expected, I had new experiences, met some great folks, and of course shot a ton of photography.
Golden dorado never stop feeding and that is what makes them so exciting. Watching aggressive fish like the golden dorado feed naturally is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever witnessed. When hooked up on the fly, they are without a doubt one of the most acrobatic fish you can fight on a fly rod. The fishing experience is perfectly complimented by the remote jungle, great guides, and incredible accommodations -- all provided by Untamed Angling’s Tsimane Lodge.
There is still so much more to see of this place. Tons of water has yet to be fished and I am once again determined to return to further explore these rivers.
